If he would run the 400, I seriously think he could run a WR there as well. If so, he would be the greatest track athlete of all time, and he would hold that title for a very long time. He might end up being the greatest ever anyhow, but it would be amazing to see one man hold those three records, and he could do it.

The 400 is the next record he could break, but he is so young I think he could get the 400 hurdles, 110 hurdles, and possibly long jump. I am not sure if this has every been the case but doubling his 100 time is faster than his 200 record which makes me think he has not maxed out in the 200. In the past the 2nd hundred was always faster. Freak.

I highly doubt he gets any hurdling. Yeah he's fast, but hurdling is more about technique. And the chances of his 200 pace being faster than his 100 pace are nearly 0. He's standing still to full speed in a nick of time and he just runs that pace. He may not even have the aerobic capacity to do a 400. Some athletes are phenomenal sprinters, but have 0 endurance.

I am just saying that over the past 30 years doubling the 100 has been slower than the 200 record.

I heard a story on NPR last week discussing with a scientist about how much lower these times will go. He seriously believed that he could run under 9 for the 100m.

His personal best at the 400 is just over 45 seconds. The world record is 43.18. He just needs to compete in it to get it. I think that you will see him become one of the greatests athletes of all time.

seems to me he could just complete his victory lap and run 45.
