His rivals profile shows no schools going after him. Hopefully we are just keeping our options open and don't just a use a scholly because we have one.

I dont know how much stock I put into that right now. According to rivals, Godfrey didn't get any other offers and he has turned out to be pretty good

Not too much out there on him, by the looks of it.

I love how people review these kids as outsiders; Well thier offer list doesn't include Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, or Texas. Hope we are just keeping options! Really?

That is some fantastic hyperbole. He has no offers from any school. Let alone those powerhouses. What you just said is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Good to see the hotshot talent assessors on Cyclonefanatic are quick with the dismiss. Well done boys.

We all know so much more than...oh i don't know, Bobby Lutz. Its amazing Marty Blake isn't stalking this site to gain everyone's infinite wisdom.

First off Lutz was watching him. He didn't go down there offer him a scholarship, and receive a commitment on first glance. If he continues to watch him and likes what he sees, offers him a scholarship, and he signs, then what's the big deal? He'd obviously be worth our time.

according to his coach there is a lot of schools calling about him and actively recruiting him. You should see a list soon. DePaul, Missouri, Virginia Tech, Robert Morris, and Georgetown are some of the schools recruiting him.

April, 2010: Montray is considering attending prep school. The 6'8 banger inside is a run and jump high flyer that plays above the rim. He can step out and shoot the 15' as the trail. Although his ball sometimes comes off flat but he has nice form and touch allowing him shoot a fade away or play a face up game. But his game is all power. He is picking up where Cleveland Melvin left last year. Clemons hits the glass hard and is explosive off a power dribble or a dump off. He excels in a butt to baseline scenario exploding up at the rim. A solid get late as a mid-major big man if he doesn't reclass, if he does reclass he will receive high major looks.

Cleveland Melvin averaged 14.1 pts. per game for Depaul this year and was Big East Freshman of the Year. I read on another site that Clemons is having trouble qualifying with a passing SAT score. Seems like a very interesting prospect who could have some similarities to Godfrey. Seems like they are going after a post to replace McKnight.

Anyone have any updates on Clemons or David Bruce? Wondering if we are still going after a post with our remaining scholarship.
