I could be mistaken, but I believe the $5m for Bassett was rumored to be the total package over four years, i.e. $1.25m average per year. Still a lot but, but a lot less that $5m per year.

Even if it's $1.25m, it's wild to me that there's that much money in wrestling.

Well when your MBB team is a bunch of MVC players, i would guess you have some extra $$$ to throw at things like wrestling

Mineo is close will Bo's dad and Mineo hates Iowa and basically said the same . He wanted to be in Iowa city training this summer and that's illegal. He can only come in for a camp. He also doesn't have a vehicle and HS kids at other programs do. Iowa isn't paying HS kids and others are.Bo decided he wanted to be at Iowa and his dad ruined it. Everyone is looking for some big story and it's not there

If I had a high profile kid I wouldn’t let them post on social media. That’s a recipe for disaster with all the creeps that follow 15 year olds a little too closely and take this stuff way too seriously.
