- One game Friday night (Oct. 4) - Houston at TCU
- One road non-conference game - UCF at Florida
- Five teams have an open week

All of that leaves only 4 Big 12-controlled games:

Saturday, Oct. 5
*Baylor at Iowa State
*Texas Tech at Arizona
*Kansas at Arizona State
*West Virginia at Oklahoma State

Also, FOX/FS1 will have two MLB games at some point on the 5th.

That Matt's sports blog guy has us at 7pm on big Fox. That would be sick.

Do they announce these late morning today or am I making that up?

yes, they will either announce the kickoff times later this morning or announce another 6 day hold. Although with so few conference games and the matchups, it feels like it would be a waste of a 6 day hold...

I'll always maintain the big winners from the new Big Ten deal were Iowa/Wisconsin/Nebraska/Michigan State.

The big names were always going to be taken care of with big TV windows but that next tier is the perfect group to get those big windows when they play the Top 5 (Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, SC)

I'm not sure we'll see another 6-day before November unless they waste one on just 2 games in a particular week.

What % of fans will actually wear white? I was surprised/impressed at the KU basketball game. Hoping for the same next week.

I really wish they would have some sponsor that provides cheap shirts for everyone… (pull some strings, @brentblum).

Hopefully it's like the KU basketball game last year, just about everybody in Hilton had white on & it looked great. Hopefully not too cold out, if people have to wear coats that could lower the percentage of white.

I’d be willing to bet they will paint the field a little differently for one as well.
