Cy's Locker room will take names down for those who want the cardinal shirt the players wore following the title game.
Thanks! Just picked up 4! They still had 4-6 of each S,M,L and XL (at least at the display).
Anybody seeing any cool/new big 12 champion shirts around the web (for those not close to DSM)? I was really thinking we'd see more variety and quantity.
I might be in the minority but I don't really understand shirts celebrating 3 consecutive wins. Winning the Big 12 tournament is great, but not even comparable to a conference regular season title or final 4.
Perhaps they should make a shirt with Fred in mad max garb hoisting a spear which has the heads of Weber, Self, and Drew upon it....
I just find it silly. Looks even worse with the scores of the 3 games on them even.
Regular season titles are obviously far more important, but winning the tourney title is an exhilarating 3 day weekend. The excitement that 3 day run provides is pretty incredible. I think in general its a more "memorable experience" because its 3 consecutive nights, as opposed to 2.5 months worth of grind.

Really don't understand the hate for winning a tournament. How is it different than winning a season conference tournament.
Someone used the argument "It's just a sign that you are hot right now, not how your season went". Well guess what, Wichita state had a great season, and flamed out in the tourny. Not sure why the conference tournament is any different.
IMO, ISU is the winner of the big 12. period. And if Tech had won, they would be the big 12 champ.

Not hating but just feel the same as I always have before. It's a big deal but not comparable to Conference Championship or even an Elite 8. Still a big deal but not shirt worthy for me. Others have different opinions and I am fine with that.
