Honestly, I was shocked ISU was at the top of the Big 12...but compared to the SEC and Big Ten...wowza...

Didn’t @brentblum already say this report is not even close to being accurate?
Yeah on Twitter he said it was BS. I wish it was that even across the board... BYU isn't shown on here but they reportedly spent $7 mil on one player alone in basketball which is more than our whole annual collection I imagine. One of you needs to seduce a silicon valley billionaire.

And then I could blackmail her, no way she would want it know she got busy with me.

Just more of why we have no idea of what to believe regarding the spend with NIL. Nature of the beast, but the level of transparency is just not good.

Absolutely. Doesn’t surprise me at all that this may not be accurate. But also, if it did turn out that we were toward the top of the heap in the new Big 12, would We Will admit it? Lot easier to create a sense of urgency for potential donors by telling them we are at the bottom and falling further behind.

We may never know how much BU and BYU have. However, the fact that the Cougars could spend, reportedly, $7 million dollars on the #1 basketball recruit, and that the LDS church has a net worth of 265 BILLION dollars - my guess is that their NIL is heads and shoulders above the rest of the Big 12 schools. They're the new Dodgers/Yankees of college athletics.
