Once again the Big 12 getting completely embarrassed this Bowl season. Year after year this seems to be the case.

And no this isn't a troll job, it's just annoying that it happens year after year. It gives little credibility to the conference. The most frustrating part is what's Iowa State's excuse for sucking so bad during conference play against teams that really aren't that good on a national level. As much as I couldn't stand Paul Rhoads being the coach there's no way he was solely to blame.

Ya I was just talking about this as well. No doubt our bowl tie ins are very unfavorable to our teams, but we do **** the bed every year. Same can be said for basketball. We always make a case for being the top conference, but are always the victim of many 'upsets' come tourney time.

Against my better judgement, I'll bite...

If the problem wasn't Rhoads, what do YOU think it was?

TCU may not have won it all last year, but they'd have played better than OU did. They were really on a tear last season and finished the year with the least blemished record.

Still the Pac 12 hasn't exactly lit the world on fire so hard to argue OU was a bad choice for #4.

Baylor actually rep'd the league very will beating the #10 team with basically their 2nd and 3rd string offense and practically no QB depth. Some other games yet to be played.

OU obviously, and not shockingly, disappointed.

I'm just glad we finally have a head coach that wants to be physical on both sides of the ball instead of trying to out-finesse other Big 12 teams.

Big 12 teams are too soft, and that is how you beat them. Just look at tonight's game with OU and Clemson. OU looked like the more athletic, faster team out of the gate, but Clemson was more physical and wore them down by the 2nd half.

It seems to be pretty accurate that the Big 12 just doesn't play defense. Clemson ran for nearly 300 yards on OU. I'm kinda sick of the Big 12 being just these super fast, no defense teams.

I think every poster on this board has been accused of being a troll at some point or another, so I understand where he's coming from.

He has no likes given, not a lot of posts, and I remember him in other trollish settings. He has a bit of a point about OU specifically lately in big bowls, but overall the B12's bowl record isn't drastically worse than any other major conference outside the SEC, better than some.

Clemson looked great against OU, but injury decimated Baylor looked to be on a different level than #10 UNC out of the ACC.

The embarrassing thing is The Big 12 hasn't won a football title in 10 years and has not appeared in the championship game in 6

Still not as bad as basketball where we haven't had an elite eight team for three years and a final four team besides Kansas in forever.

OU was good this year, but lets not act like they very likely were the third best team in the Big 12 if Baylor and TCU are able to stay healthy at key positions. **** Baylor might have won the conference if they didn't lose their backup.

I would have liked to seen Baylor play any of these teams. **** Baylor just put up 700 yards of offense against a team that took Clemson to the wire. Also Bob Stoops has a history of ******** the bed in big games. If I were Boren, I would call Chip Kelly right now and see if there is any interest. That won't happen, but it should.

That said the B12 might end up 1-5 and look like an embarrassment.
