Nah I meant NCAA. 28-6 isn't good enough for a 2 seed?
will that resume pass one of these teams?

Duke, Tennessee, Virginia, Gonzaga are current 1 seeds. Those four won't drop past a 2 seed unless Gonzaga loses 3 more times before the tourney. I don't see that happening.

Michigan, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan St. are the current 2 seeds.

Michigan has lost to Iowa and Penn St. recently. They are still 23-3 with some good OOC wins (NC and Villanova)

North Carolina is 20-5 with their worst loss against Texas. They beat Gonzaga, VTech, Lousiville. They have to play Duke twice still and Florida St. They could drop out but I don't think Iowa State will pass them.

Kentucky is 21-4 and recently beat Tennessee. They also have wins over North Carolina and Kansas. They still have @Tennessee left. They'd have to lose 2 more and early SEC tourney exit before they drop down too much.

Michigan St. is 21-5 and is the weakest of the 2 seeds IMO. Lack of OOC wins (Florida and Texas are about it). Their best wins are Purdue and @Wisconsin. They have some bad losses against Indiana and @Illinois. They still have to play Michigan twice. If they lose both, I can see them dropping a seed.

Iowa State could pass Michigan St., but they also need to pass Kansas, Marquette, Purdue, and Houston. Pretty daunting. The only route I see is Michigan taking out Mich St. and Purdue when they play and ISU taking the last 2 seed.

I would be thrilled with a 3 seed. 2 Seeds would be much less daunting to meet in Elite 8 than the 1 seeds (hows that for getting ahead of myself?).

LOT of work to do yet. This game coming up may be the biggest challenge remaining. While Baylor is not as good as UT, TTU and maybe TCU, they have sure had our number. In any case, one game at a time. Good things will happen if we win.

You sure about Stokes injury? Stokes played 29 minutes yesterday. No mention of any new injury to him or him wearing a boot postgame in any of the press I could find.
Yes, I'm sure. Kam played but not well: 3-13 and 0-3 from the free throw line. Both he and Wade were in boots after the game. That's been confirmed down here.

Probably just snow boots.

After Weber all but saying Wade wouldn't play in Hilton and then him playing and looking just fine I take any talk of KSU injuries with a grain of salt.

Which game are you talking about? That wasn’t his line against ISU

After Monday's games:

Kansas St.: 64.6% (28.2% outright, 36.4% tied)
Texas Tech: 61.4% (24.8% outright, 36.6% tied)
Kansas: 24.6% (3.4% outright, 21.2% tied)
Baylor: 5.0% (0.7% outright, 4.3% tied)
Iowa St.: 2.3% (0.0% outright, 2.3% tied)

Number of teams winning the title:
1 team: 57.1%
2 teams: 30.5%
3 teams: 10.1%
4 teams: 1.9%
5 teams: 0.4%
6 teams: 0.006%

If ISU wins out, they have a 10.1% chance of sharing the title. Crazily, the most likely scenario for Iowa State: a four-way tie with KSU, Tech, and Kansas. Even more crazily, the second-most-likely scenario: a five-way tie with KSU, Tech, Kansas, and Baylor.

Well, if we can't win the conference this is my next preferred finish. I would be OK with this and it is not really that far fetched. All teams win last home game (senior nights) except WV (against us). Let's see if this Saturday's games break as outlined. Biggest one would be Baylor over KSU.
