Nah I meant NCAA. 28-6 isn't good enough for a 2 seed?
will that resume pass one of these teams?
Duke, Tennessee, Virginia, Gonzaga are current 1 seeds. Those four won't drop past a 2 seed unless Gonzaga loses 3 more times before the tourney. I don't see that happening.
Michigan, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan St. are the current 2 seeds.
Michigan has lost to Iowa and Penn St. recently. They are still 23-3 with some good OOC wins (NC and Villanova)
North Carolina is 20-5 with their worst loss against Texas. They beat Gonzaga, VTech, Lousiville. They have to play Duke twice still and Florida St. They could drop out but I don't think Iowa State will pass them.
Kentucky is 21-4 and recently beat Tennessee. They also have wins over North Carolina and Kansas. They still have @Tennessee left. They'd have to lose 2 more and early SEC tourney exit before they drop down too much.
Michigan St. is 21-5 and is the weakest of the 2 seeds IMO. Lack of OOC wins (Florida and Texas are about it). Their best wins are Purdue and @Wisconsin. They have some bad losses against Indiana and @Illinois. They still have to play Michigan twice. If they lose both, I can see them dropping a seed.
Iowa State could pass Michigan St., but they also need to pass Kansas, Marquette, Purdue, and Houston. Pretty daunting. The only route I see is Michigan taking out Mich St. and Purdue when they play and ISU taking the last 2 seed.
