I don't care what tempo we play if we win games. Winning 36-33 >>>>>> losing 89-85

I hesitate to knock Wisconsin's general success in the last decade or so (built in part on 1940s scoring levels such as this ... even in a "losing effort"!) but it doesn't exactly inspire excitement in the actual product.

You and me and everyone else would scratch our eyes out if we had a season full of 36-33 victories. Let's win 92-89 all season long instead.

So...were those legends or leaders playing?

Thank goodness they have their own network to play that classic over and over and over again.

You must not be very good at math, because the inequality should actually read as follows:
Winning 36-33 <<<<<< losing 89-85

I'm just NOT ready for a 36-33 college b ball game....Hells Bells boys that is a Junior High score these days...

I like games where the teams both score at least 70 points apiece...

And remember the big ten is the preeminent conference in this country!!

Yeah Right :twitcy:

That was possibly the most painful game I've ever watched.

I won't be taking Wisky to go very far in the tourney now.

I actually enjoyed watching the 2nd half of that game but mostly because I was rooting for it to stay in the 20s for a final score.

Last night- Jimmer Fredette 52, Wisonsin 33

Also... Fredette had 32 pts at halftime.... just one point shy of what Wisconsin scored all night.

And don't tell me that it's because Wisky plays defense. If you look at the highlights of Fredette last night, it usually doesn't matter if he's being guarded or not. Unreal performance.

When I first turned the game on, there was 4 minutes left in the first half and Wisky had 8 pts.

4 stinkin' baskets in 16 minutes of play! Seriously. That is just plain awful.

Re: Jimmer and Wisconsin go to overtime.

Man, I was confused when I saw this last night. Now it's all coming together. Well done.

You must not be very good at comprehending English, because he's saying he'd rather score a few points and win than score a bunch of points and lose.

What a total embarassment.

If the league would have been thinking, they'd have cut off the power to the arena.

wisconsin has one of the top 5 longest ncaa tourney appearances streak, bo ryan has never finished worse than 4th in the b10 (10 seasons), and they almost always win at home.

they are the most successful miserable program in america.

The 2-A State Tourney is more impressive than that crap-*** ballgame. Somehow it will be spun in BigTen land as an indicator of the lockdown defense that their conference plays.

and iowa only managed 3 wins in a conference like this? this just further proves the iowa fans are delusional when they think they are better than us
