Idea: Best/Worst Post of the Day

I was just thinking, with some really funny posts on here, if we could get some kind of rating system that would recognize the best and absolute worst posts of the day. Might be fun... Just an idea...

Actually, that's how the new people that join probably look at the rep system, if they even understand it.

You have to hang out here for a while, to get a true feeling on the atmosphere. Just like anywhere else.

Ehh I had a comment here but it's not fair to call posters out when they haven't said anything today... I've got a few people in mind that would be the leaders in this thats for sure...

I would like to add the suggestion of collecting 5-10 of the best posts of the day and making it into a poll and let the users decide on the best posts from the previous day. That would really make it fun!!

Unless there's a way to automate this it'll create an unbelievable amount of daily work for one of the mods.

That and I think user involvement would die out pretty quick

I think that there have been a lot of quality posts about the Iowa scandal the last few days that would had to have won.

Well, we have the rate thread feature (not sure how often it's used) so something similar to that for individual posts. Then take the highest rated posts and have a vote the next day, or something like that...
