Any updates on his injury? Hope it’s nothing serious but he didn’t look great on crutches. Whatever is next for him I hope this injury isn’t a big hurdle. Wishing him well. All time great cyclone.
From the immobilizer he was wearing it looked like a knee.

Sounds like he had decided to retire from football anyway. So I imagine he will heal up and move on with life
John mentioned that Beau has a graduate school scholarship.

I’d hardly be surprised to see him show up on the list of grad assistants sometime this semester, assuming he’s interested in coaching.

Don’t call him an ass

I agree. That seems pretty aggressive when Beau is one of the best to ever put on the cardinal and gold!

Was it Ben Bruns who said something about getting an education, but you'll need to trade a knee for it?

So many guys get dinged up working for the degree

No offense to your wife but guessing Fryler has a greater ability to recover with him being a young D1 athlete with way more resources for recovery

Some of it will also depend on if it was a clean tear of the ACL without other damage.

She was lucky. Clean break. No meniscus damage. Bear procedure (and resulting insurance battle). Still was a road back to recovery.

Not the worst, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone....

Well. Maybe just a few people....

I’m very familiar with the Bear product.

I think the science makes sense and am a believer in the technique. 1000% not surprised insurance was a PITA due to the technique being pretty new.

Do you mind providing what town the surgery was performed in? Feel free to PM me if you want.

I work in orthopedics and am curious to where the technique has been adapted.

Dude, it was a joke about my autocorrect that I was too blind to see right now.

No one called him as ass. And it’s fixed now—“assuming”

Gonna suck with just Cooper back there next year. Did everyone else know that Verdon was leaving early?

Pretty much. He walked with the seniors during the Senior Day celebration.

Wife just had that. Long recovery, but she's about a 100%. Wild what that procedure is now
It sure is. I had two ACL replacements, 20 years apart. It’s crazy how much less invasive it is now.

If only rehab was the same in your 40s as your 20s!
