Oh the SEC will propaganda all of it.

It's already started, "Ohio State struggled with a mediocre Michigan team."

No mention of Auburn needing a fluke to beat a mediocre Georgia team.

I'm mostly wondering about the chances of them being successful and moving some votes. Surely there are some voters out there who believe the SEC "deserves" one of the spots in the title game since they're clearly so much better than everyone else.

What are the odds that rampant SEC campaigning pushes Auburn over Ohio State?

What about if Auburn plasters Mizzou next week but Ohio State goes to OT with Michigan State before winning (for the sake of argument)?

It will all come down to the human polls, but I just cant see Florida State and Ohio State not being 1/2 if they both are undefeated.

What happens if Mizzou beats Auburn and Mich St beats Ohio State? Would Mizzou or Bama get in?

And, oh the chaos if Duke somehow beats FSU also (which has almost 0% chance of happening).

If Mizzou, Michigan State, and Duke all win next Saturday, you better believe we're looking at another all-SEC title game with Mizzou-Alabama.

Yep..and they'd justify it by saying they didn't play during the regular season so all SEC is ok in this case

Auburn will have to be ranked above Alabama. The problem for me is, when comparing OSU to Auburn or Alabama, is OSU the better team?

Bama is currently at .9881 in the BCS
FSU . 9697
OSU .9200
Auburn .8236
Mizzou .8077

Computers have Bama at .970
FSU .990
OSU .920
Auburn .830
Mizzou .810

It will be interesting to see how far the human polls drop Bama. If it were me, I would have them at 4 ahead of Mizzou. If the computers have Bama ahead of Auburn, which is entirely possible as Bamas one loss is better then Auburns, I could see Bama coming in at 3 in the BCS.

Automatic bids:
ACC- Winner of 1 FSU/20 DUKE
B1G- Winner of 2 OHST/10 MSU
SEC- Winner of 3 AUB/5 MIZ
P12- Winner of 7 STAN/11 ASU
B12- 6 OKST in best position
AAC- 16 UCF in best position
4 BAMA - will get auto bid if they stick at #4 (b/c 1-2-3 should all be league champs)
14 NIU - need to beat BGSU

That leaves two selections from a pool that would currently have: 9 BAY, 12 ORE, 13 CLEM and maybe a couple of conference title game losers.

Ohio State #2 in all polls and #2 in the computers, seems like they will be safe for the title game unless the southern voters can seriously rig the ballots next week.

Huge question will be does Michigan State stay in the top-14 with a loss to OSU. If they do, they're a lock for the Rose, if not, gets pretty murky.

Im still going with this...

NC- Ohio State/Florida State

Orange Bowl will get the first pick to replace Florida State, and they will take Bama. Rose will get the next pick, and they will take Michigan State because of their alliance with the Big 10. Orange then gets the third pick, where they will take Clemson because of proximity and alliance with the ACC. Sugar gets the next pick, and they will be forced to pick between UCF/Northern Illinois, and the Fiesta will get whatever team the Sugar does not pick.

Orange Bowl- Bama vs Clemson
Rose- Arizona State vs Michigan State
Sugar- Auburn vs UCF
Fiesta- Okie State vs Northern Illinois

Looking at the standings, I think the only way Michigan State would fall out of the Top 14 would be if OU beats Okie State or Duke beats Florida State.

THAT is an absolutely AWFUL slate of games. Beyond terrible. REALLY hope it doesn't end up like this.

Sugar and Fiesta would be snoozefests. Orange would only be interesting to see if Bama showed up or not. Rose would be good but it looks more like a Sun Bowl than a Rose Bowl. The national title would probably be a good game though.

The BCS bowl games are going to be crap this year. I think it's pretty much a guarantee when you will likely have Northern Illinois in 1 game and UCF in another.

Ok then.

BCS: FSU-Auburn
Rose: MSU-Stanford
Orange: Alabama-Oregon (maybe Clemson)
Sugar: Ohio State-Oklahoma
Fiesta: Baylor-UCF

Good slate, outside of the Fiesta.

Looking forward to Michigan State-Stanford Rose.

Selection order:
Orange
Sugar
Orange
Sugar
Fiesta

Alabama and UCF have to be picked.
Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oregon and Clemson are vying for 3 spots.

BCSCG: FSU vs. Auburn
Rose: Stanford vs. MSU
Fiesta: Baylor vs. UCF
Sugar: Alabama vs. Oregon
Orange: Clemson vs. Ohio State

I can't believe the Orange would pass on Alabama with the No. 1 pick. Maybe I'm underestimating their ACC loyalty, but Clemson would also still be there for the No.3 pick.

Maybe I would be wrong with Bama-Oregon, but I think there is way more money to be made and tickets to be sold for the Orange Bowl if they scoop up Alabama first, and then get Clemson when they come back around (Sugar, presumably takes Ohio St. @ No. 2)

It looks to be popular opinion tonight that Oklahoma will be getting a BCS nod over Oregon and go to the Sugar Bowl to be smashed by Bama. That's good for the Big 12 no matter the result

It makes some sense- large fanbase thats driveable and the Sugar bowl is just entering into a partnership with the big 12.
