Did anyone watch the 45 minute BCS show on ESPN? I lasted about 10 minutes...

Also, as I said last week, the "BCS expert" on ESPN who projected Boise State would be ranked #1 in the BCS standings was a total joke.

Our schedule has the current #1, 9, 11, 15, 16, 19, and 22 teams on it. 7 of the top 25 teams in the country. So, to get to a bowl we have to win all the games over teams that aren't in the top 25 plus one that is in the top 25. So, basically with our schedule, we have to be a top 25 team to be elidgible for one of the 70 post-season spots.

And the top 2 had two weeks to determine how they could best blow us away. . .

That list is why if we make 5 wins this season I would call that a success, beating the teams we should legitimately have a shot at. Getting 6 wins should solidify that CPR is a pretty good coach. Getting blindsided by the #1 and #9 teams shouldn't detract from that. Damn near impossible to be successful with that damn schedule.

The Utah game just got out of hand in a hurry, the psych of the team couldn't have been good heading into a game against the #1 team in the country BCS wise either . ..

Interesting that the Big 12 is supposedly down this year but yet currently the Big 12 and SEC both have 6 teams in the top 25 followed by Big 10 with 4 teams.

I think the Big 10 and SEC end up beating each other up. The NC will end up being Oklahoma, Oregon, Boise st, or Utah/TCU.

If Boise State made it to a National Title game, I have no doubt they would compete. The real question is how they would perform under a grueling conference schedule week in and week out.

I want them in there to win it, so we don't have to see the same stinking teams every year.

I love it when it's opened up to everybody. I don't like recycling the same teams and calling it tradition.

10 different champions in 12 years isn't different enough for you?

I would like to see Boise State play for the title. Although I would love to see two non-automatic teams play for it all just to see everyone complain about it. Not to mention that having to two non-automatics play for all the marbles would probably destroy the BCS since all the big boys got left out.
