I'd just like to say that I cannot find any ill will for Iowa State. By God, I like you guys. Of course I want you to lose this weekend, but I otherwise wish you all the best. Hope all of your players stay healthy and for those of you at the game, I hope you enjoy your time in Waco and at The Case.

Here's to kicking some *** the rest of the season!

Right now Baylor and ISU have a lot in common as to their futures. I think we can point to this Saturday and hope we have a spirited football contest free of injuries. If it were to be a great game to see on TV with your great athletes, and our gritty athletes, that would be a plus.

I'd love for my team to win, but I'd really like to see a close exciting game - maybe 38-35 or somesuch. Hope both teams live up to their hype.

Personally I hope we have you by more than 8 with five minutes to go. Like it or not, we both need to shed the stigma of 'doormat', although it is largely unjustified. We both need to continue to show the football world we are legit. Good luck!

"Doormat" has been a lot more justified in relation to Baylor than ISU, since the dawn of Big 12 play.

When does that Baylor lawsuit spank the pants off aTm? Waiting for the news. Go Ken.

Thanks for the kind/respectful post! It's great to see you all doing so well given the past of Baylor football and the overall "big boy" climate of college football/the Big 12. Let's hope for a fun game to watch....with a Cyclone victory!

Missouri fan,

This is what a class post looks like. Thank you Baylor fan for not coming here and starting threads about how important your future is...to you.

Best of luck going forward and here's to a long and mutually beneficial relationship as conference partners.

Yeah, but ISU has NEVER approached the greatness of Baylor at any time in the past. Regardless of Big 12 or not. You never had a team like our 1980 team, 85-86 team or 91-92 teams. And we are surpassing you big time now with Art Briles.

Welcome. TBH, the only thing I *hate* about Baylor is basketball. It pisses me off more than you can possibly imagine to see the recruits that your program is getting. For the life of me I cannot understand why these kids are wanting to playin front of crowds of 5000 people. Absolutely ridiculous.

Slow down Tiger errrrrrrrrrrrr Bear, I wouldn't put the cart before the horse. What's Art's record vs. PR? A legit Texan team doesn't lose to this seasons KSU. This statement isn't correct...yet. And if Art blows up at Baylor he'll be moving on, quick.

Baylor AP finishes for the years mentioned above:

1980: 14
1985: 17
1986: 12
1991: N/A
1992: N/A

I'm not sure any of this can be considered "greatness".

We'll see how this season plays out, but thus far the Briles era highlight was last year's 7-6 finish. Without RG it's the same ole Baylor.

I will take ISU's football future over Baylor's thank you.
