I have a bachelor party planned for my best friend for this weekend. I need some ideas that will make it more memorable. Of course we will do the binge drinking, going out to a fancy restaurant, etc, etc. We are going to KC for a few days.

But I'm trying to get some ideas to make it stand out more than just a weekend with the guys. I thought about T-shirts...I've seen the "ball and chain" the future groom wears.

Has anyone been to one where they said "that was a really good idea"? Or have any good ideas for me?

Three rules:

No tattoos
No piercings
No photos

Other than that.... pretty much everything is a go!

I have a couple things I can share on this site that would make the bachelor party a fun time:

1) Pool money. Take $75-$100 per guy and be sure the bachelor doesn't pay for a thing. from coffee in the morning, lunch dinner and of course any entertainment (like bowling :rofl8yi:) and drinks. Completely comp'ed for the bachelor

2) Ball and Chain the ENTIRE weekend. I had to go through this and let me tell you, it is a good way to get used to married life. :wink0st: I had a 16lb bowling ball attached to a chain that was wrapped around my ankle and padlocked.

3) If there are a lot of guys going, be sure to rotate who is with who. Since most, if not all, will at the wedding, what a better time than to get to know all sides of the family and friends.

4) be sure to have fun! (and be mindful, there is always that one guy that likes to take things to the next level when drunk....)

-keep.

Paintball is a guaranteed good time. One of the most memorable bachelor parties that I've been to started with paintball. Action packed and makes everyone thirsty for more beer!

Keep the cellphone away from the bachelor. I know this sounds stupid but for the guys that are already ball and chained by their soon to be wives this is a big deal as your party might wind up meeting her party later that night which kind of defeats the whole purpose of a bachelor party in the first place...

Highly important, except for the early night photos. Once it gets going, you dont want them ending up being seen by the now wife 3 months late...believe me!:no6xn:

Hence the motto "what happens at the bacholer party is not shared with anyone that might tell the woman." My girlfriend's sister in-law is still bitter about the stripper her brother had at his bacholer party. And this is 10 years of marriage and 4 kids later and she still holds that against him... :rolleyes5cz:

You could buy him a nice shirt to go along with what happens after the bachelor party.......Like, maybe, this one:

Of course I am kidding, especially if the Mrs. reads this post....:laugh8kb:

Don't know what their schedule is, but tailgating before baseball games is pretty fun. Depending on the size of your group you may be able to get a group rate for the Royals.
A to-do list for the bachelor is a must.
A couple things we had on our most recent bachelor's list
*kiss a woman over 50 (the hard part was finding out a lady's age)
*collect some form of undergarment from a woman
*get signatures from 3 woman wearing a thong
*early in the night-call his wife to be and explain a few "positions"
Just a few suggestions.

The women, of course. Several "non-affiliated" guys in the group were helping to find those women througout the night.

A corollary to this is "someone always tells someone, which is the same as telling everyone." Seriously, have fun and make an *** of yourself, but don't do something you couldn't or wouldn't explain later.

If you are going out in westport then you need to stop by the Beaumont for awhile and make him ride the bull and get a lot of pictures of it. Tailgating for Royals games is always a blast and they are in town this weekend. If you are interested in stip clubs I am sorry the ones in KC aren't that good and the ones on the Missouri side don't allow booze. You should get him a shirt with a picture of a cat and the words "one pu$$y for the rest of my life."

i'm going fishing for my bachelor party...some guys want to go out and drink/check out strippers because they won't be able to enjoy that anymore...for me, it's fishing...pretty sure i'll be retiring the "ol' rod" for awhile...in more ways than one

I didn't have to retire the "ol' rod" until I had a couple kids....

I'd talk to everybody about what they want to do for the bachelor party as well, like, does the bride have some brothers coming or some other guys might not be totally comfortable with strippers. Then the whole stripper thing is a drag for everybody, because the guys that don't nothing to do with it always end up pissing off somebody.

My brother had a bit of the same problem. His friends all wanted a stripper, he wanted to have a few drinks and go to the Funny Bone. I think he was rather upset when they did get a stripper. So good luck with your non-stripper fishing party.

I agree with not letting anything being photographed if it is bad. Also leave the video recorders at home. A friend of mine recorded a lot of his party and during the footage a drunk friend went into how he and the groom hooked up with a few ladies 5 years prior in Europe. Meaningless at the time, but later we found out the groom and bride had been dating 7 years. She saw that footage and it literally began a 3 year downward slope to divorce.
I am planning a bachelor party right now also. ALWAYS have a back up plan for the agenda. Some idiot will always forget his ID or lose his money or get thrown from a bar. Make everyone check for their ID before leaving the hotel. I have seen it ruin a night. Finally if you are in KC, I guess try going to Kelly's if he is into Iowa State also. Hope that helps some.
