AVG is reporting a malware, trojan-backdoor 5A31.exe

- might be a ploy to sell an upgrade, but, it seems to alert when I go CF.

I come here a lot, and out of the hundreds of times I believe this site has made Avast pop something up about three or four times. Doesn't do it with any other common site either. I'm not quite sure what the deal is. But off topic I do recommend Avast over AVG.

Yah, except for that whole MAC Defender thing. The primary reason Mac's don't have problems is there aren't enough people using them for the bad guys to bother writing viruses for them. With the popularity of iOS, etc...I think they'll probably start coming.

Damn rookie. I just got rid of a virus on a mac. Not from this site, but piggybacked in on a free app. First problem I had in 1 1/2 years, but never say never around here noob.
