Aurora Borealis

It may be visible as far south as Des Moines on Thursday night due to solar flares. I've never seen it before.

I've only seen it once up here in the TC's. Usually it is too cloudy or they aren't bright enough to be seen through the light pollution. The one time I saw it was amazing.
