Are practices closed to the public?

Sorry if this has come up before, mods, feel free to delete, but, I have searched here and on Cyclones.com for the answer and can find nothing.I always kind of assumed they were, but, I'll be in town this weekend and was hoping to catch at least a glimpse of the boys banging it out. On that same note though, I don't want to tick off any coaches and anyone else by showing up.

Since I live in Illinois, I don't get a chance to see the Cyclones much anymore, so, I was hoping you could, at the very least, see something on a drive by the facility.

Again, I apologize if this question has been answered a million times before.

Spring practices are almost always open and fall practices are almost always (if not 100% always) closed.

I do know fall practices are open to HS and youth coaches - but to get into a fall practice, you need to call the FB offices first to obtain approval.

I think I remember an e-mail update from cyclones.com that mentioned the practices were closed.

I frequently drive by with my 9 year old son to see if they're practicing but never see anything. Usually 7-8 am.

If you join the Cyclone Gridiron Club, you can get an "up close" look at the team while they practice on August 16. Also, before the scrimmage-- "The Gridiron Grillers will again provide a great meal that will have us all very anxious for tailgating season to return."

Annual membership fees start @$25- for students & $100- for other individuals. See link below for details /admission info.:

Cyclone Grid Iron Club - CGC Exclusive Fall Practice

How's that, for a way to get y'all ready for some football?!?
