…but way worse losses. Those don’t count?
I think the losses are fairly equal.
UCF and Va Tech have similar records.
BYU and Tech handled us and KU similarly

Other losses:
KU - @ WVU, @KSU in OT, Marquette (neutral court)
ISU - @Baylor, @ Houston, Texas A&M (neutral court)

Our conference losses are better than KU's, but their non-con losses are better than ours. I'd love to see us be ranked higher, but it's fairly close to a toss-up and I just know that KU is going to get preferential treatment in these scenarios.

Plus, it was literally 1 point separating us:

Jayhawks

1156 (0)

8
Cyclones

They don't even know! Houston didn't even get Hilton at full throat due to the weather.
And lack of a full complement of students! It was a break game.

I was there and yelling, but it was not quite it's usual atmosphere without a full complement of students.

Not even bothered or surprised by it. They get a bunch of love over nothing lol......Clones hang with the #1 team on the road and win at home and they take the back seat to them in seeding and polls. Bunch of clown stuff.
This is what it is, they have to justify still calling them a 2 seed and us a 3.

Seems like I need to keep saying it

Its very reasonable to think KU should be ahead of ISU based on the non conference

Its very reasonable to think ISU should be ahead of KU based on big 12 play

Maybe just agree to disagree

Yep I was there as well. It got loud a few times but wasn't even close to the full experience.

Football logic says an early loss is more tolerable than a late season one. We dropped our non-con games to VT and TAMU as this team was gelling in early season. I’d love another shot at both of those teams.

Regardless of rankings, I put more stock in our XII performance (recency) than our non-con resume.

What worries me more is getting a nice seed, then getting a team like Kentucky in a potential second round matchup. We're always going to be fighting the "clowns" for respect until we sustain an extended period of success. And even then...
