So, my Clink DSL has been down since the storm yesterday. I let it be overnight figuring they likely had massive service interruptions and would be working to restore them.

This morning, still no service out here near Waukee. I called them up and they insist I'm the only one out here with no service and everyone else in my neighborhood is connected. So now I have to wait until tomorrow for their tech to get out here.

I am 100% confident the issue is not on my side of the line, and all cables/lines are underground.

Anyone else without CLink service right now?

Damn beat me to it.

I lost my internet but didn't lose power. What's going to suck is when you do call in they'll make you unplug like 5 times. Then when you're sitting there in awkward silence waiting for the reboot they'll ask "Is the DSL light solid yet?" Yes. But I've just been playing the silent game without you knowing.

Are you using the standard CL modem? Those things seem to fry easily. I'd buy your own. Then they're going to be the ones to tell you if it's from you box to your house (billable) or something on their end.
