A week ago the athletic ticket office told me the letters indicating your seats for FB would be mailed out yesterday (27th). I live in Clive and did not receive anything today, but I suppose it could take a couple days.

Did anyone in Ames (local) get the letter today?

Are they split 2 and 2, or are they 4 individuals spread throughout the stadium?

They were split 2 and 2, but these are row 10 seat 25-26 and row 11 23-24, so it is going to make the kids a pain in the butt for the people between us. I am fine with the split, but they need to put them together.

Got about what we expected. We moved up from Gold to Captains, and although they reseated the stadium, we are not in Captain Club seats. That being said, we did request only west side seating so maybe there are Captain's seats available on the east side.

We did move one section closer to the center and 9 rows down, so I am happy for that

I just looked and had ours, thankfully all 4 are next to eachother in section 22. I have a question for anyone, I have always been in the second deck, so I am very excited. I do have some concerns though, we are in row 6 can anyone give their opinion on if we will be able to see over the players? I know we should be good by our endzone, but what about looking to the north the other 75 or so yards??
thanks!

IMO, lower level sucks unless you are in one of the top 5 rows in the lower level.

I prefer 1st 5 rows midfield in the balcony.

I have been in row 6 (it is actually only 5 rows back) at the 37 yard line for the last two years plus this upcoming season and it has been pretty good. The only time you can't see what is going on is when the play comes to the sideline right in front of the team. Other than that, the view is great and you can see and hear what is going on along the sidelines so you can figure out injuries quickly, who's getting ripped by the coaches, etc.

Ive been in section 21 row 10 for the past 6 yrs years and love the seats u are almost on the field. I hate the upper deck and would never sit there for any amount of money under 6 digits.

That is great news! That is what I was hoping for, I can't wait for the season to get here now! I thought they would be good, but in no way was I expecing to be in row 6, I love to see the sidelines during the game. I used to sit in players tickets in Iowa city when my buddy played for them, about the same seats, I was hoping they would be the same at Jack Trice. Thanks for the info!

I sat in lower level 1 year and hated it. Couldn't see a darn thing half the time and had to rely on the scoreboard TV alot. I used to get sideline passes too and never liked those....again...very hard to see what is going on unless the line of scrimmage is right in front of you.

I like the balcony because you can really see the plays develop. See the line open holes and see receivers that may be running free.

IMO, best seats in the stadium are 50yd line, first row balcony.

That's just me.

Completely agree, unless there's a monster railing in front of you. If there isn't however, you have a view of the entire field and its unobstructed.

We got ours and they didnt change. We had to double our donation to stay and asked for better seats if available. We like our seats so its not a big deal, and there isnt a lot of room to move up in front of us without sitting with the faculty.
