on the Offensive Line? I am assuming it is Tibbs, but I have not heard a definite answer. I guess it could be Stephens but Tibbs seems to be the one that has been turning heads.

One of the other sites is reporting that Tom Schmeling is leading at the #1 OG spot over Tibbs , Stephens & Fisher. Tom is a 6'3" 290 lbs. Soph. He was recruited to ISU from the same Atlantic class as Bret Meyer.

I played football at Atlantic with Tom's dad Gene. If he ahs the same mean streak and dedication as his dad he will be a good fit.

:Guns: Please now use Mr. Schmeling(ex-Tibbs).:Guns:

He/they have been doing very well for themselves.

Schmelling is all man and I think he is a good fit next to our monster center. He is very strong, and aggressive. I am glad to see he has pulled ahead of Paul F. I like the agility (relative to Paul) that he brings to the position and the attitude he brings to the team. (not to mention we will have at least one returning Olineman next year.)

Tom graduated with Brett, but is a year behind as he grey shirted his freshman year and joined the team in January. Word then was he used his time very wisely and was a workout machine and came in very strong. He then redshirted during Bretts first year as QB.

With Reggie Stephens having pushed for a spot and in the two deeps as a redshirt freshman and Tibbs back next year as well I am feeling better about our O-line next year for Todd & Brett's senior year.

Should be any, it was the same way most of last year...Scott F. was our left tackle and Paul was standing on the sideline

brotherly competition can lead to great things. i can attribute several scars/close calls to trying to out-do my siblings....so maybe this is a good thing?
