What are your thoughts of it? All I know is they better have redone Trice's scoreboard. It's been up for years now and they still had that same old one in the game.

I bought it but I haven't noticed the scoreboard yet. I assume they didn't change it though. I do know that Blythe catches pretty much everything you throw to him. I believe he had 300+receiving yards and 4 TDs against Iowa. Funny side note, I knocked Tate out of the game in the first quarter after sacking him...now if only he had thrown an interception and then got hurt trying to tackle me...

The game is ok...I'm not sure if I like the new 3rd person view when returning kicks, although it is a little more realistic. Overall I give it a 7 on a scale of 1-10.

I have the 360 version, and it is pretty cool. Graphics are pretty amazing and game play appears to be much more realistic than prior versions. I actually had a tough time beating Toledo in game 1 of the season. It was a 28-21 triumph, but it took a sack on the ISU 12 to seal the deal with 30 seconds left.

Game appears to be somewhat stripped of some features from prior versions though as well. for instance, there is no 'Crowd-effect' on the screen or controller. I remember in 2006 how the screen would shake, etc when the other team's crowd got really fired up.

Overall, thumb's up in my opinion on the x360

When i first started to play the game, i really didnt like it that much because it is different than the 2006 game. More realistic and more features to the game. But (for me at least) the more i played the more i started liking the game.

8 on a 1-10 scale

I got it and really like it. Ive heard a lot of the buttons on the XBox version have been changed from last year but I have it for PS2 and for this version most are the same. What does everyone think about the new kicking system?

I hated the kicking system as soon as i got the game. But once you start to play the game more its actually kind of cool and more realistic for the power and accuracy.

The 360 version is pretty money, although you need a HDTV to really enjoy it. At first I was a little disappointed, but after you get used to the new controls it was much more fun to play. ALOT more challenging gameplay wise, no 77-0 scores on Heisman. I think its a good buy, and the mini games are alot of fun.

The only thing that I dont like about it is the kickoff and punt return game. When u return the ball the camera goes in to the third person and u cant see the whole field. I thought I had returned a couple of kicks for a touchdown but all of a sudden this guy comes out of know where and tackles me from the side, so I couldnt see him. But other than that its a pretty good game.

The 360 version is missing out on a ton of features that the playstation and original xbox have such as create a school, race for Heisman, and the recruiting is also different.

I enjoy the 360 due to the HDTV, but miss the extra features.

How can this game ever not be a delight though?? A definite, must buy!

What is Meyer's rating compared to "Gods gift" Drew Tate. I remember last year he was a 95... the most over-rated person in the game. I mean who else throughs an interception and tries to tackle the guy head on?

I apologize for my ignorance, but please explain the username. I realize that Ralph Macchio is the actor that played the karate kid, but my feeble mind is unable to decipher the L2 prefix before it.

Im playing it for 360, the game has great replay value, and graphics are outstanding. The only thing it lacks for 360 is depth, otherwise its a good game

Just a different way to make a capital R. The karate kid was one of my favorite movies growing up, so this has been my user name for almost everything since '99.

I also want to give a shout out to monkeybrow, thank you for your comments.

After hours of saying to myself, "El - TwalphMacchio', I thought of the capital R. Thank you for the clarification.

my favorite is KK2...when he travels with his mentor to Japan to battle rival kung-fu teenagers...and get's involved with a local hottie....que Peter Cetera please.
I blame those films for getting my arse blasted a few times...wax on/wax off does not work at all.
