Oh man! I really feel for ya. How did you do that?

Surgery scheduled soon?

Good luck.

I have had "jumpers knee" for quite a while. Probably due to the degeneration over time, i went up for a layup, and the next thing I know I'm on my back with my kneecap 3 inches up my thigh.
Surgery on Monday.

Did you make the layup? Can you finish?

Actually, I was going up to tip in someone elses layup. I guess I never really found out if it went in. I was too busy flying through the air horizontially, thinking "This is going to hurt". I never really felt a pop or tear. It was like someone totally undercut me, but after realizing what had happened, the tendon blew as I was springing up, thus landing flat on my back.

OUCH. I hurt just thinking about it. Good luck on the surgery and therapy.

Martin Riggs just mans up and slams his shoulder into the nearest solid wall. Problem solved.
