So many cool things about that photo! Was wondering if anyone recognized this football field...just curious!

I noticed that too...not sure I have visited a football field that ran E/W?
I can think of a bunch off the top of my head we played on growing up.

-Algona
-Bishop Garrigan
-Garner-Hayfield
-North Union
-Webster City
-South Central Calhoun
-St. Ansgar

Now it's easier to come up with N/S fields but that's off the top of my head all E/W.

There's a number in SE Minnesota that I've been to to help with sports coverage too. In fact, I'd say it's about 50/50 in our region.

Stewartville
Byron
Kasson-Mantorville
Triton (Dodge Center)
Albert Lea
John Marshall (Rochester)
Fillmore Central (Preston)
Lanesboro
Dover-Eyota
Chatfield (Runs WSW-ENE)
Lyle-Pachelli
Alden-Conger
Glenville-Emmons
Blooming Prairie

I'm probably missing a few too.

And how about TCF stadium and US Bank stadium both E-W in the Twin Cities. US Bank is all glass and TCF has an open west end so sun could certainly be an issue.

Is this the same fullmonte that posts on here? I pictured him as a 12 year old based on his posts...
I don't know. All I know is a couple of his tweets caught my eye. He's a crusader who thinks he's balanced and reasonable, but is really just filming himself doing "attack mode" confrontations. No balance, no reason, just a lot of shouting.

Actually, that 12 year old description is pretty apt. :D

But that picture IS a cool picture, so he has that going for him...

Cool...thanks! I just love that photo! But it is strange that the field runs E/W! Would make for some tough catches of passes/punts/kicks!

I returned kicks/punts in HS and played on a field like that once... It was really tough when the sun was at the "right" spot. Plus the field's light poles were very low, which this field looks like too, & when a punt/kick got high enough in the air, it would just disappear in the night above the lights, then suddenly reappear when it came back down. Crazy tough to catch!
