Hey everybody! A group of friends and I are trying to figure out if there is any possible way to watch the Clones game this Thursday? Is it simulcast on satellite? Is Mediacom putting it out there for people to buy (a la college gameday on DirecTV) or am I stuck plugging my laptop into my friend's flatscreen tv and hoping that my high speed web connection doesn't go down? Let me know if anybody has any ideas!

I understand that the Denver Cyclone Club meets at the Public House in LoDo for the games, however I don't know about Thursday's game.

More details please ...

I'm in New Mexico and would like info on getting the game over the internet ? Is the foxsports an audio only thing or is it streaming video? Is it free you do you have to pay? Is it pay per view or do you have to get some sort of subscription? If you have to pay, does anyone know of free audio? I like to listen to the games but don't necessarily want to pay big bucks. Free is good !!!

You are right Cybone we do meet at Public House - our group of friends become Saturday regulars for the next two months. Plus you can't beat the $20 all you can eat wings and select beer during the college football games!! I do believe that the Fox Sports website is free; I guess we will just have to watch it on the web. Also from what I understand, the game will be shown live, aka video. If anybody knows any different, please feel free to jump in!

I'm in Colorado as well. I'll be traveling for this game (on a plane at game time. Damn work!) However, keep me in mind for upcoming game gatherings.

I checked all over foxsports.com and didn't find anything to indicate a video broadcast online. Where are you seeing this info exactly?

Just an inference, as well as a slight memory (is that proper grammar?) about somebody on Cyclonefanatic mentioning that it will be video. This is what the webpage says: http://www.cyclones.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=48323&SPID=4653&DB_OEM_ID=10700&ATCLID=541984

"The game will be simulcast live for those outside Iowa on foxsports.com" I'm making a guess, but simulcast usually means video.

On a related note, I know that I found the CSU-Iowa State hoops game back in December on some obscure webpage, LIVE, with two announcers that seemed like they had one too many mai-tai's after being on the beach all day! Hilarious, but still better than not seeing the game at all.

In other words, I'm holding out hope that somebody, somewhere, will have this game. And even if its only radio, I can live with that.

They said it was a video Web cast and I imagine/hope the link will be there and available to click come Thursday. Maybe it's a deal where you just go to their front page on Thursday and it will download right there on the front page. I'm hoping anyway. It's supposed to be free too.

Public House is located on 1920 Blake Street, next to the Sports Column (EIU's bar here in Denver). I suggest that you park at either the garage or the parking lot right there at 19th and Market. The parking lot is usually pretty dead during college football games and is usually cheaper during the afternoon than during the evening (due to all the LoDo'ers). So come early!

However, as mentioned above, the game is not on TV this week. So come for the Iowa game!

No Hope at all!

If you live outside Iowa like I do there is no hope to see ISU/Toledo game. Grab the laptop for audio or get a Siruis Radio. Does Jamie Pollard look at these postings????

"The next big step" will rely on Out of state Fans and Alum for success. With approx. 2 million people in Iowa and 1 million of them over 65 years, do you rely on the Iowa market for "the next big step"? Only TV and Webcast will bring in the $, that means marketing in Iowa is just nuts.
You market to the Alum where ever they are with TV coverage ie satillite feeds, pay per view and agressive media coverage nationally. Come on Jamie, buck up. With all the expections and Million $ D-Mac we fans need to see the game. I don't want to go to these sites and see a Fox Sports.com teaser and then go to Des moines register.com this AM and see and article stating " no foxsports.com webcast". That Sucks.

Go Clones via radio
