Seems like it is indeed neededThat’s all we need.. more retail/restaurants.
Always packed at both the Johnston/Urbandale and West Des Moines (by Jordan Creek) locations. I don't particularly like their steak as it has no taste, but it's one of the very few places the kids will eat.Looks like you got a Panda Express in there as well.
Altoona and Ames both have one now as well.Always packed at both the Johnston/Urbandale and West Des Moines (by Jordan Creek) locations. I don't particularly like their steak as it has no taste, but it's one of the very few places the kids will eat.
For as big and fast as Waukee is growing, there are actually very few restaurants and nothing between there and Jordan Creek. Since most of the Kettlestone Development is big build stuff (large business building, hotels, the new concert arena, etc) there's only going to be so much room out there. The Live Nations development has space for some retail and a few restaurants, but not enough. That’s all we need.. more retail/restaurants.
They've been rumored to go into that spot for 10+ years but Hy-Vee was always fighting it at the City Council level (behind the scenes) to avoid the competition for groceries. Glad progress won out.Target has been one of the worst-kept secrets. Will be nice for the people who live in Waukee who desperately need more commercial buildings on the tax base. It is also super close to where I live in WDM.
In droves. Every Texas Roadhouse is always packed. Maybe some hyperbole, but not far off.People still go to Texas Roadhouse?
That's wild.In droves. Every Texas Roadhouse is always packed. Maybe some hyperbole, but not far off.
That's hilarious considering that HyVee owes land in Ankeny for a third store just north of centennial high school on 36th streetThey've been rumored to go into that spot for 10+ years but Hy-Vee was always fighting it at the City Council level (behind the scenes) to avoid the competition for groceries. If what I heard is true, Fareway owns land a mile west of Centennial as well. That's hilarious considering that HyVee owes land in Ankeny for a third store just north of centennial high school on 36th street
