Another New Waukee District

The plat has been announced but no stores name. Was able to get an unreleased overview.

Looks like;

Target
Ross
Sierra
Chick Fil A
Wendy's
Old Navy
Chipotle
Texas Roadhouse

I thought I read that most of these (aside from Target) were basically placeholders and the logos on the document were basically a 'what could be' sold to developers.

That being said, the building marked as a chick fil a is about the exact shape of some of their other ones, so that one may be farther down the road to confirmed

When I got it from a developer in the area, he said most were solid with a few still TBD. Obviously we’ll have to wait, but I hope it all pans out.

Waukee just has a Hyvee, Fareway, McDonalds, Culvers, Bbops, Taco Bell, Burger King and Pancheros. So yes, please bring more retail and restaurants.
Is it me or is that the worse Bbops you've eaten at? I'm normally a fan but that one isn't the same

The Texas Roadhouse in Coralville that we went to (for one time and one time only), I actually thought the food was pretty good for cheap steakhouse fare.

Now, the bro country cranked to 11 and tsunami of rugrats crashing around is an entirely different matter

Texas Roadhouse, I don't get it. The one in Johnston has been there for probably a decade and it's always swamped. Other restaurants in that same area are going bust left and right.
I like their burgers.

Texas road house is a well oiled machine. Food is always consistent and the staff are great. Never have left that place not satisfied. All the locations in DM area usually have 30-1 hour wait times around 6-7 PM
I usually leave that place full, but also half deaf. I prefer to grill my own steaks, but if we are going out, Texas Roadhouse is better than most including Outback, which at least the one in CR has gone downhill.

Texas Roadhouse is usually pretty good food for the price and my kids love it. We don’t go often because of the long wait times though.

I do wish they would turn down the music. I don’t mind country music but it is really loud.

There used to be a Jessie's Ember's over there before Texas Roadhouse moved in. Their steaks were top notch. Sadly, Texas Roadhouse and their average food put them out of business.

The best thing about TR is the spread for the free loaf of bread.
