How does Indiana have so many four star recruits and still suck so bad......?????

The state of Indiana is loaded with talent, but I am surprised IU can land any four stars. I've lived in Indiana for about 18 years and I have never run across one single IU football fan. IU, Purdue, Butler, and ND all have their basketball fans. Purdue and ND have their football fans, but no one cares about IU football.
