I don't think anyone on this site is happy that we are 3-6 right now. That being said, yes, we have seen much improvement (except OU, that was terrible, as usual) in this team. Lanning is a guy to build on. I was on the fire Rhoads trip as well, but with 17+ D1 coaching openings coming after the season, and some of those being some big name schools, who exactly do you think ISU is going to get? I hear people say Tom Herman, probably not going to happen. So I'd like to know who you think we have a realistic shot to bring in to coach this program without paying them 4 mil a year, which we will never do.

That took me 5 minutes and all of them are better options than CPR. And that's just D1-A and doesn't include assistants or D1-AA coaches. So can we please stop this "to many open jobs" ********
LOTS of good options out there that would be interested in the Iowa State job. I would bet a lot of money almost all of those, if not all, would have the same or more wins than Paul Rhoads does this year.
