Is everyone that plans on tailgating plan to use official parking outside of the stadium, for example in lot B?

Or are there grass lots near the stadium?

We are looking to tailgate with other cyclones!! Guessing we will be 99% of the tailgate population though lol..

Is there another thread on this subject that I missed??? I'm surprised that no one has responded. I thought we were a tailgating school.

I'm also trying to determine what our tailgating options are for the game.

Yeah, I'm quite surprised no one had replied either. We ended up buying 2 lot B parking passes. Hope its chalk full of cyclones!

We are looking for what to do game day also. They have a open bar tailgate from 5-8pm for $125. Was wondering if ISU is putting together anything the day of the game.

Tailgating will be dramatically affected by the presence of so many nice hotels on the nearby Riverwalk where there will be 2-3 days of tailgating prior to the game. We are hardcore tailgaters (even for the Drake game), but are expecting to hang out on the Riverwalk during the afternoon and early evening before the game, unless some monster Cyclone Fanatic tailgate at the stadium emerges.

Looks like Lot B passes are still available for $60-70 via stubhub. Is this pretty much the best option for tailgating?

FYI:

Tailgating is restricted to the space in front or rear of your vehicle. Do not obstruct the driving lane or bring glass containers. A fire extinguisher must accompany each group using a cooking appliance and a person knowledgeable in its operation must attend to cooking appliances when hot. Fire extinguishers are required if an open flame is used.

i was planning on walking over from my hotel with a cooler and finding a tailgate to join
