I was standing in CA right in front of the guy who was yelling at Haluska, it was fairly harmless. The first time he yelled, Adam looked and started laughing which egged the kid on more. He was just trying to be funny yelling things like "an intramural championship is better than a big 10 championship!" I was actually surprised more people weren't yelling things at him.

I was right around that area too and was about ready to beat the living **** out of that guy. He and his 7 loser friends thought it was just the funniest thing in the world yelling stuff at Adam. Hey, I can't say I really like Adam either. He essentially screwed us over. Whatever though people, let it go, he had his reasons and it's OVER. His little brother had a HUGE game for us yesterday and we got a row of friggin dumbsh*ts that are yelling obscentities towards Adam, who not only was sitting next to his wife, but his parents and little brother as well. Absolutely pathetic. Again, I was about ready to punch the one kid, and I've NEVER started a fight before in my life. The crap he was yelling and yelling loudly (which was NOT all "harmless" - many times calling Adam a derogatory three letter word for a gay person) combined with how we were playing made me very embarrassed and VERY angry.

While Adam has everyright to make any decision he wants its his life and no one elses ,which I was mad for about a season, It was a fun game to be at when he came back to Hilton

I hated Adam when he was at Iowa but now that he's graduated i really dont care either way...if he's at Hilton supporting he's brother good for him.

By the way the Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC comment, although kind of inappropriate was hilarious

It's all history now, but Adam Haluska wasn't the only player to leave ISU because he couldn't tolerate LE. Abusing him and subjecting his family to the same clearly proves ISU fans are just like the rest of the fans in the world, but we at ISU like to think we are somehow more classy.

I must have missed the slew of other LE defectors that went to play for our hated arch-rival. It's not that he left, it's where he went.

I understand what you are saying with that, I really do. But, he was comfortable there, he had a nice career, and so good for him. He at least seemed like a decent kid, unlike a lot of the other LE defectors.

Nice Shane Power refernce Cy:yes: i wonder if they exchange Christmas cards???

Just heard Haluska was traded.... Didn't hear where though...
Looks like its a good posibility of being houston - Found this on ESPN.com

"The Rockets reached agreement on a deal that will send guard/forward Bonzi Wells and guard Mike James to New Orleans today in exchange for backup point guard Bobby Jackson, individuals with knowledge of the talks said Wednesday night.

The Rockets also will receive rookie guard Adam Haluska and either their own or New Orleans' second-round pick, whichever is greater. They previously had been sending a second-round pick next season to Seattle to complete the trade for the pick they used to draft Carl Landry in the 2007 draft. To complete the deal, Memphis will receive forward Marcus Vinicius and either a second-round pick or the rights to former Rockets draft pick Malick Badiane and the rights to an unsigned player from the Hornets. -- Houston Chronicle "

From Waukon huh, don't let those black and gold tinted glasses up there get to you. I too had to put up with that growing up in Waukon. Overall I agree with your message...mostly.
