I couldn't resist it. My partner at work got one a week ago, and wouldn't stop talking it up, so I chunked down $348 + tax at Wally World, and dang, was that a great purchase.
I have small hands, so the keyboard is doable, and with 1GB RAM and 120GB memory, I can do everything I need to get done in a computer. While I was at Wal-Mart, I picked up a $20 8GB USB stick, and I was ready to rock and roll.
The only major drawback I could find was the lack of a CD/DVD drive. Thus the USB stick; I download whatever I need to transfer onto the stick from my desktop computer, and transfer it to the netbook.
This thing is quiet, runs cool and is durable, with no major moving parts inside to break. It's about 10" by 6" so I can throw it nearly anywhere and take it with me. Battery life is over an hour; I plan on getting a second, longer life battery if I can, so I can use it on the airplane, or wherever I need.
One last thing: The webcam is the heat. Really clear, and fast. This is the single most useful bit of tech kit I've purchased in the last few years.
