If anyone's interested, here's a pseudo-scientific way to estimate your IQ through GRE/SAT translation.

http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/GREIQ.aspx

And as far as teachers being low on the GRE chart, I believe in Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. IQ, or standardized tests in general, don't tell the whole story, by any means.

Holy smokes, I am smarter than I thought.

At the same time, I did not know that people in medicine were so challenged.

Ha! Thats what I thought, if I am really as high as that chart indicates then humanity is in trouble!

If someone is attempting to get into medical school and took the GRE, I think you already have the explanation for the low score!

At the same time, I did not know that people in medicine were so challenged.

We've all heard the old joke about what you call a med school grad in the bottom half of his class. Doctor.

I jokingly asked my doctor his class rank and he immediately changed the subject.

I'm just feeling old now because neither of those tests had that type of writen element scored 1-x when I took them. On another note, at least I didn't score where others with one of my majors averaged - makes me feel smarter than my cohorts - not hard when they score LAST jeeze.
