I'd like to thank everyone who has supported my flag running the last 3 years. It has been a lot of fun and an honor to cheer on the Cyclones with you. Sadly, this tradition is nearing an end. Due in part to my time as a student coming to an end, and due in part to circumstances beyond my control, I will be running for the last time at a Big XII game this coming Saturday vs. Texas Tech. I would like to thank all of you again for your support and hope to see you at Hilton on Saturday. Go Cyclones!

I'll miss you Superfan's friend, I always enjoyed your running during the breaks, I know how far it is to run around the upper ring. I used to run it for exercise when I was in school. You were doing a good thing, sorry it ends with you! Thanks for being an active fan!

Honestly, that's pretty lame. But if they are going to make you hang up the flag and the crazy hat, I think they should send you out with style. When you start the final run, they should play the Chariots of Fire theme or something. As a perennial balcony sitter I've really come to enjoy the flag runner. It's an every game thing and I've grown to like it. I fear change.

This makes me think of the WWE dude who made his own championship belt last year after ISU won the "Mythical State Title." He wore a cape, had huge rings, painted up and had a mask. Dude even had a little sidekick. I saw him at football games last fall, but not at hoops that I can think of. I guess he could have graduated......

I have enjoyed the flagrunner too watching him run at the games I have been to this yr. The only time I didn't like it was the Kansas game when some rabid Jayhawk fan started chasing him with a KU sign. I wanted to kick that person in Nards, but he was a she so probably wouldn't have been taken to kindly by the crowd...

I only saw him at one of the exhibition games. There may be a pic in the gallery somewhere that he's lurking in the background of - I tried to get a good pic of him, but he was too far away. He made me laugh.

The flag runner is one of my favorite parts of the second half!! We'll miss you!

I love that guy. That's the 1 thing us up on the balcony can count on is him running the ring around Hilton in the second half. Hell they even have a clip of it on the video board before the game!

Section 226 is gonna miss you man!

That's awesome... you need to get a picture of it and post it. And SUPERFAN needs to collect some royalties!
