Well, that record didn't last long...
Hey basketball fans, remember ISU's completely craptacular first half against Nebraska a few weeks ago? The one where we set a record for the least points scored in a big XII half? Well Texas A&M just shattered that record by scoring a whopping 10 points in the first half against Oklahoma. Good to know that ISU doesn't own that dubious honor anymore.

Too bad for their fans. It was a record that I was hoping to savor the flavor of for years to come. I even got to witness it from the Court Cy'd seats.
Anyone know the lowest point total in a Big XII game? A&M still hasn't ended their scoring drought a couple minutes into the 2nd half.

I wouldn't say they "shattered" it. They scored 10, we scored 11.
That said, when somebody comes up with a trivia question asking who had the fewest points in a half in Big 12 history, the answer won't be ISU anymore, and that is a good thing! :yes:

That was a weak attempt at a joke. It's hard to shatter anything when you score that infrequently.
