And in 20 years it probably won't be the largest stadium anyways....

20 years? That gives UT plenty of time to expand DKR to 120k or so, just to beat them to the punch.

That report is not even close to what is being talked about here in College Station. Number of seats my be right but they are probably going to close the stadium for a year and play games in Dallas (Jerryworld), Houston (Reliant) and and San Antonio (Alamo Dome), (sounds like 2nd or 3rd year in SEC), demolish both sides, connect to the north endzone, and then add a south endzone.

Basically, the stadium is completely out of code. The reason the north endzone doesn't touch any of the other stadium is because they would have had to bring the entire stadium up to code. Their biggest issue is electrical that is over 40 years old and old decks intact under the current stadium.

Edit: The article linked here is from August and the article he links is from 2004.

Must be compensating for something...

Well... when your team is a preseason top 10 team and their results after 10 games are a 5-5 overall record, a 3-4 conference record, and being unranked....

Yeah, it is probably time to drop a "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK OVER HERE (and not at our crappy results on the field after we tried to convince everyone we are SEC worthy) idea. :wideeyed:

Still no mason jar hall of fame?
Color me unimpressed.

But... but.... they do have a dog cemetery just outside the stadium complete with a working scoreboard so the dead dogs can always know the score of the games... :twitcy:
