First off, I am for a change at football coach. It is simply just time to make the switch.
But, I think something needs to be done to show thanks to Dan McCarney for all he gave to Iowa State. I have been talking to those connections that I have within the athletic department about creating an endowed scholarship in Dan McCarney's name to support an Iowa high school player. Hopefully this takes root and we are able to have some lasting tribute to Mac.
