Billy said on CW’s pod they were going to change up the D to limit Baylor 3’s…ummm
They got flustered when Baylor punched us in the mouth at the end of the 2nd quarter and we have been panicked ever since. Coaching game plan is honesty bizarre. It’s like the three wasn’t falling and Egbo was in foul trouble so we went completely away from who we are. We have been playing exactly how Baylor wants us to since the last four minutes of the 2nd quarter

It's absolutely EMBARRASSING how much crying there is about the officiating. We are getting crushed by a crazy good team that's playing spectacular. They earned this win, they deserve this win, they are absolutely better than us, like it or not! Stop bringing up the officials, it's just dumb.

As we’ve seen several times this season (LSU, UTx2), the bigger and stronger Bears bullied us in Waco. We shot poorly and they out rebounded us by double digits. ISU needs to move the ball around and hit our threes, while limiting Baylor’s second chance opportunities. I think the large crowd will carry our gals to victory! Go State!
Second verse same as the first!

Would really like to know what NaLyssa Smith rubbed all over her legs before the second half started. She had to wear a glove to put it on....someone should check what was in that stuff.

well at this point, just screw it...game is out of hand. I think we will be penalized a bit more for this loss. There is losing and there is is absolutely getting your azzz handed to you on your home floor by 30 with the conference title on the line.

Joens is really, really struggling.

Need her to be great to beat teams like this.
She’s got 17 points in less than 3 quarters. 11 of 12 from the line. She put two players in foul trouble as well as the two on Smith. Their plan was obviously not to let her have a clean shot and hope they don’t call every foul. Same thing Texas and Baylor do to her every game.

It just seems like Baylor players have about 25 lbs more weight than our players. Do we recruit a leaner body type for some reason hoping for more speed? I am happy watching a consistent top 25 team that Bill puts out, but just wondering about how do you take the next step?

Tried explaining that this to so many of my friends. It’s not to say we couldn’t get red hot from three and those type of teams have an off night and we win. That happens. But by and large you can script exactly how these games are going to go. And that’s ok. These teams are just better than us and are matchup nightmares.

3 makes from the 3 pt line won’t win many games. Not surprising we are getting blown out. Baylor is too big and athletic for us, we needed a really hot 3pt shooting night for a chance.

They will have to win the next to games easily for that to happen
Thats false. They were just slotted at #6 by the selection committee, they're not falling 11 slots with 1 game left in the season + 1 big 12 tourney game at min.

Seeing a lot of posts about "we need to shoot more threes!" Are we watching the same game? Baylor is hounding us at the three point line and we are not getting ANY open looks.
It doesn’t matter. You can’t play inside against them with what we have compared to them. It was a stupid game plan and played right into their hands. First half we had a lot of good looks from three and just missed them. When we got it inside we needed to kick it out and not go to the rim. Scottie Christopherson talks about it all the time. This team is built to shoot threes. Play Baylor’s game against Baylor and you are toast.

Think it is as simple as better recruiting, especially getting stronger and more athletic players. Quite frankly I don't really see that happening.

She's 4-19, 0-8 from 3. Baylor isn't worried she's scored most of her points from the line.
