North Dakota State - Home Game- NDSU finished the season last year 6-5/ 4-4 in conference. It all depends if the players of Iowa State show up and play the game. If they look over this game to the Iowa Game which is next week, we could be in trouble.

I will state this as the score ISU 24 NDSU 17

Iowa - Home Game- This game also can be a toss up. 55th game in the series. Iowa holds a 36-18 advantage in the series that began with a 16-8 ISU win in 1894. But since 1999 (Under Captian Kirk) Iowa State has won in *1999 17-10, 2000 24-14, *2001 17-14, 2002 36-31, *2005 23-3, and 2007 15-13. Since this game is at Iowa State, and Stanzi has no experianced the true game at JTC I give Iowa State +3

Final score Iowa State 17-Iowa 14

Kent State - Road Game- Road games at places like Kent have been a disaster for Iowa State The golden Flashes are just that a golden flash of success against Iowa State in scores but also being able to run and throw the ball. After the debacle of 23-14 in Cheese(censored) debut Kent State would be the favorite. +3

Kent State 24-Iowa State 21

Army- Home Game - Army brings the tanks to Iowa State on this day. LAst time Iowa State meet Army Iowa State won 28-21 which also was the biggest blowout the history of that school. Brett Myer led the attack and finally Ryan Kock rushed the final for 3 yards for the go ahead touch down. Shawn Moorehead Sacks Zac Dahman for loss of 8 yards to end the game. Iowa State +7

Iowa State 28 - Army 10

Kansas State- Home Game - ISU has a bitter taste in there mouths when peole talk about Kansas. Whether it is in Basketball or Football. With a 38-30 win last year, Iowa State plans on a rebound from that year. Coach Rhoads at the helm, nt knowing what or how or even cares about that loss, brings a new face to JTC. A powerful Offense that has the offense clicking and a defense thats foaming from the mouth. Iowa State +10

Iowa State 24 Kansas State 14

Kansas- Road Game - Jayhawks, just like Johnston Iowa, but with hatred. Mangino which is a doughnut short of "oh my god" Of the 27 players that he has signed in 2009, three junior college signees include cornerback Calvin Rubles (Tyler JC), defensive tackle Travis Stephens (Blinn CC), and defensive end Quintin Woods (Bakersfield CC). Two of the three junior college players were Texas high school standouts as well. There defense will be hard to deal with. Kansas +3

Kansas 24 Iowa State 21

Baylor- Home Game - Baylor being a home game is a + for Iowa State. With Sepulveda going to Pittsburgh in the 4th round. The Baylor bears are without a punter that can set the ball deep and make it a long drive for the 'Clones. Lots of underclassman on the roster. Robert Griffen is listed as the starter but he has junior and senior wide outs to run the Pro-Set offense. Iowa State +7

Iowa State 28 Baylor 21

Nebraska-Road Game - Nebraska last year beat the last two of the three teams that we will have already played in 2009. Kansas and Kansas State by a combined score of 101-63. Being a road game I will put Nebraska up by +13

Nebraska 34 Iowa State 21

Texas A & M-Road Game - Sure Texas has the players, But since we beat A & M at there home field there wil be a sour taste on there breaths for years to come. The Aggies are tough on there own field and will battle the clones to a hard faught game. Texas A & M. The Aggies wound up with a 2-6 record and a bottom feeder of the South. I expect them a win here. +3

Aggies 24 Iowa State 21

Oklahoma State- Home Game - Kid Rock comes to town playing "Cowboy" And thats what it just will be- All OSU, beating 6 teams last year by 40+ points I do not see a stop to the offense. OSU +20

OSU 40 Iowa State 20

Colorado- Home Game - Retaliation after that bitter loss from a week agao. Iowa State comes back and smashes Colorado in the mouth. Iowa State +14

Iowa State 28 Colorado 14

Missouri-Road Game - The Missouri Tiggers are going to be tough. Chase Daniels is back for the senior year. Yes, no Maclin but they have other recievers and it is a road game Missouri +14

Missouri 24 Iowa State 10

That comes to a 6-6 season

W-NDst could be a blowout but probably fairly close b/c of new coach, new OC, new offense, new players

L-Iowa could be close or a win with greene gone, but considering all the new, doubtful against a solid defense and likely improved qb play from iowa.

W-Kent st. it'll be really close, but their only weapon last year was a fast qb, they're pretty bad, don't have fan support and isu should be settling in to a groove.

W-Army the clones have size and speed they don't, the spread will tear them apart, likely the only dominating win of the year

W-Kansasst they're not good either and starting over with less than we have, nice conference win

L-Kansas they will score at will against us, and we'll fail to keep up, and it might get ugly at the end

L-Baylor anyone see last year, it might not look that bad, but the former cellar dweller is no joke anymore for anyone not name Ok or Texas

L-Nebraska, Tex A&M, Ok st they're all better than us, A&M might be close, Ok st will be a blowout as the best team we play all year

W-Colorado they stunk last year and will only improve slightly, but they usually don't play us well and it's at home for our final win

L-Missouri they have significantly more talent than we do and it'll be a decent game with a bad ending to close out with a 5 wins

I can imagine Iowa blowing it like they enjoy doing for 6, but realistically it'll be us dropping a game we should win. That 2010 schedule looks rough so this'll be the year we see a bowl cause after that it doesn't look good.

Just a couple points to make. First Big Red began rebuilding last year and finished 8-4. Now I am totally lost as to how you think you are ahead in the rebuilding process. Secondly before predicting victory this fall take into consideration the last time ISU won in Lincoln Jimmy Carter was president.

I'm not sure which post you're commenting on, but this thread was started last July, so if you're responding to the original poster, its likely his perspective has changed quite a bit between then and now. Alot has happened to us in that time period.

As much as I wish it weren't true, i must say I agree with Big Red.
