500th Victory...

Should we win the Pinstripe, it will be the program's 500th win... if you don't include the game Kansas won, then forfeited in 1980. I haven't heard a peep about it so I just thought I'd mention it.

I thought we were at 492 going into the season...? Which wouldn't include the Kansas ff... (I guess that can open up the "do forfeits count as wins for the other team or as non games, debate)

I'd like it if it were a bowl win for 500, but I'd also like to know where we actually are in stats)

IMO we should not dwell on how bad we were in the past but focus on our success today and moving forward. Embrace the suck and move on. Its what makes being a Cyclone today so much more special when looking at where weve come from.

It is nice to hit milestones. However, this one seems like a bit like a tribute to the fact that we have a averaged less than 5 wins per season in our 100+ year history. I don't like that stat and am not sure I want to flaunt it.
