I really want to try the Eliminator; I have always wanted to try the handbike.

I think the show "settled down" on the hype last nite and was much more watchable. I actually enjoyed it last nite, and if this is the tone it takes from here on out it will be much more watchable.

I still think it's too bad they didn't make it resemble the original more in the broadcast - the original had a feel of a sports broadcast to it, especially with Adamle doing the PxP and Czonka doing the color. Unfortunately, the new version has more of a feel of a reality TV show feel and takes away from it a little bit.

I'm gonna say more howls....Hulk really toned it down...

Yeah, I'm thinking they were going for as much hype as possible in the premiere, but I think they understood if they wanted the show to be successful long-term it was going to be based on Gladiators v. contestants and not Hulk Hogan catchphrases (after nite 1 I was seriously waiting for the Hulk-out to occur).

I could only watch 2 minutes of it (due to a previous engagement, but with all of the cheese I can say I will watch again. I loved the original.

SPeaking of the handbike, is it harder to move this time or are people just not good at it yet? In the clips guys were ramming right on through. I also remember one of the guys on those clips but had forgotten all the different versions of the eliminator. Wow the one with Joe T really looked cheap !

I'm thinking that the timing of the hand bike now makes it harder. Before, wasn't the hand bike before the cargo net? Now they have to climb a wall, swim and climb a cargo net before the hand bike. That would probably sap your upper body strength pretty quickly!
