Planning a guys trip from KC for the first day of the NCAA tourney. Lakeside is the closest to us, but it was pretty sad when I visited last Fall. So, we're going to try council bluffs. Of Ameristar, Harrah's and Horseshoe, which has the best sportsbook?

Sad in terms of what, attendance? If that's what you mean, Osceola is what 3,500? Since neither of the Council Bluffs casinos offers sports betting via an app (last I knew), I'm guessing all are busy, with most being from Omaha.

I've been to the Prairie Meadows sports book once and that was to set up my account the weekend after it opened and to download the app. I remember when the sports book opened last summer everyone here complaining about how small and little league the Prairie Meadows sports book was. Turns out they knew what they were doing and anticipating most of their wagering coming from the app.

Does anyone know which casinos offer an app? I know Prairie Meadows does, but what about Jefferson or any of them in Council Bluffs? I'm just not in DSM very often, but could hit CB or Jefferson on the way to Ames some time.

I know for sure that Lakeside does. William Hill Iowa is the name of the app

The Q in Dubuque has an app. Riverside offers mobile betting, but its through a website as opposed to an app.

Looks like Draft Kings just went live. I'll have to stop and get registered.
