So can anyone tell me who the "Former CTU Gang" is working for, the UN?, the Vatican? Are they funded by the US government or are they just doing this with their own free time and money?

I understand 24 requires the willing suspension of disbeleif, but I kept wondering this as I watched hours 3&4 last night.

When Jack decided to bust Tony out of FBI headquarters after a brief phone conversation with Bill, I decided it was time to quit 24. Last season was horrible, this season seems to be about the same. How about they have an original plot for once? How about they stop making Jack more irrational every season? This show has become a joke.
