There's a lot of Tiger in Scottie's game. He just feels inevitable and when he has an average day like on Thursday and still shoots -2, you just feel like it's over. He then has a run somewhere like he did Saturday night that seems to slam the door shut. I didn't think Sunday would get as close as it did but I never felt like he was losing just because I've seen him figure it out and just go win. He's just very similar to Tiger in his patience and his confidence that it'll come to him.

He has such a mental advantage over the other top guys. It seems like pretty much everyone else struggles to get it turned around when they struggle. Byrson at August. Rory down the stretch at Augusta. Rahm yesterday. Scottie seems to always rebound when he has a bad stretch. He's a combination of elite skill and also being able to grind things out.

Scottie just has another gear. It's like he saw when Rahm caught him, and just shifted.
