If the Vikes target a DT a #97, Kiper’s best available are:

1) Alexander
2) Collins
3) Farmer
4) Mills
5) Sanders
6) Robinson
7) West

Alexander and Collins most likely will be gone. Farmer, Sanders, or West might be possible picks.

So, what holes are left? Not just age spots, like Harry, but actual holes, like LG was?

I’m guessing the offense is covered now, but the defense?

Age spots are next year’s problems.

I think CB, DT and 3rd WR. Although there's a rumor that they may have a deal with Asante Samuel Jr and are just waiting until after the compensatory pick deadline.

Sounds like they really like Theo Jackson so Safety may not be a priority.

I think KOC really wants a joker type on offense.that he can scheme some things for taking advantage of the attention Jets gets.

If the Vikes stick at #97 and target a Safety, these are Kiper’s remaining rankings:

1) Emmanwori
2) Winston
3) Watts
4) Mukuba
5) Sanker
6) Bowman

The only two that are certain to be gone are Emmanwori and Watts. Winston might be their best option in the third.
Does Watts have an injury issue? Surprised he’s still on the board at 90.

WIsh we could have gotten Kaleb Johnson. Might be a Hawk, but has that rare ability to hit homeruns and take it to the house whenever he gets to the 2nd level. Would be totally fine with us taking Sanders at this point, why not see what KOC can do with him in case JJM doesn't pan out or has persistent injuries? Sanders needs some time to sit and learn from a pro staff and deal with non-parents but I think the talent is there to be a good NFL QB.

Can't have enough weapons to put around McCarthy. Best way to help him succeed is to put as much skill and beef up front around him as possible. They have done just that this offseason. Super impressed with the Vikes offseason.

I’m shocked Kwesi took a WR with his second pick. Felton’s a good player but thought we needed depth at other spots.

I can only guess it's insurance in case they move on from Addison. And if not, then it's another weapon.

They've been trying to find a 3rd WR since last year. They were hoping Nailor would be it but he had some chances this year that he literally let slip through his hands.

New year starts with the the draft.
With Sauce mostly likely gone, do the Vikes end up with Stingley, McDuffie, or go an entirely different route like D-line?

edit: The Vikes have had a magical season, but it’s time to see how far they can go in the playoffs. My guess is they’ll beat the Giants and then pack it in.
What would Brett Kessler think?
