They're going to give him every opportunity to succeed. If he fails, it's not because they didn't surround him with talentYup. Vikes have really beefed up the offensive line to help JMac in his first season
Feel like this is a pretty good take from Thor. Overall I’m happy with the pick and what Kwesi did to completely overhaul the interior OL this offseason
As much as Kwesi has struggled with drafting (primarily 2022), he has done a phenomenal job roster building through FA and getting the organization out of cap hell. Obviously we need JJ, Turner, and Jackson to hit, but I really like where the roster is at right nowI think this also is a great analogy for the defensive overhaul over the past couple years.
Agreed. And Kwesi has done VERY well in free agency. With that said, the success of Kwesi will be viewed by how successful JJ McCarthy will be.Yeah I think the narrative about the drafting is really just about 2022. I've been mostly happy with 23 and 24 classes so far I think.
Seems like a good pick to me. If OL is a need, and he's the guy you like, I don't have a problem with it.
The only thing the Vikings have left to do is plan the Parade route through Minneapolis and St Paul in Feb.So, what holes are left? Not just age spots, like Harry, but actual holes, like LG was?
I’m guessing the offense is covered now, but the defense?
Age spots are next year’s problems.
I have no idea, but could Porter play safety in the NFL or would that be a waste of his talent? If the Vikes stick at #97 and target a Safety, these are Kiper’s remaining rankings:
1) Emmanwori
2) Winston
3) Watts
4) Mukuba
5) Sanker
6) Bowman
The only two that are certain to be gone are Emmanwori and Watts. Winston might be their best option in the third.
Would love to focus on defense for rest of picks. DB and safety mostly for depth. Dream is for Porter to fall to 97, but I highly doubt he will fall that farSo, what holes are left? Not just age spots, like Harry, but actual holes, like LG was?

Keep the roster out of jail and healthy. So, what holes are left? Not just age spots, like Harry, but actual holes, like LG was?

Kwesi has killed free agency this off-season and safety in next years free agency is going to be A LOT cheaper than a good guard. I'd like to see another interior defensive lineman, high upside WR, or BPA taken tonight
