Guys who can hit 100 mph don't grow on trees. A low A fringe prospect isn't much more than a bucket of balls anyways

I actually think there's a reasonable chance he ends up being an effective reliever somewhere. The stuff plays and the control wouldn't need to be that much better for him to be effective, he's flashed the ability before. Wish Alcala the best but I was ready to be done with him

I don't see Alcala being an effective reliever moving forward. Too many flaws. Couldn't get rid of him fast enough, especially after his performance Tues.....total collapse.

Lopez our top pitcher is out until August. Ober our #3 pitcher just got smoked. Gave up4 home runs and looked bad. Our starting pitcher is at 1 . Our season is about done without major changes. I think we are passed picking up cast offs from other teams.

Sure was nice of the Rangers to all of a sudden find their offense after struggling all season. A mere 34 runs in 3 games. Woof.

They frequently crap the bed with RISP. Good teams don’t do that. I think the offense is more of the issue.

Twins are 4th in the majors in batting average with RISP. Not much power though, middle of the league.
