From the sounds of it ISU was the school he committed too earlier last week. Then VT came in to get a visit and a commitment. Bummer but like others have said probably doesn’t move the needle much.

If Ech goes 149 and Paniro goes 157, it makes no sense. Miller is a great wrestler but wouldn’t be but different than Paniro at 157.

Too lazy to check, but was Euton beating caliendo when he tore his knee up? Or close to it? How late into the match was that

Keeping it close against someone good is a far distance from winning. He was handled by Garvin as well and doesn’t have any high end wins to his credit. Not saying anything bad about him here, it’s just how it is. Still better than Riggins.

From what I’ve been told if Castillo was a freshman this last year he would’ve been starting

I’ve heard this is well. I’m always suspicious about “room” stories but do love the positive report.

Nobody was recruiting Mesenbrink, he went to cal Baptist. He eventually had his breakout at the end of his senior year in high school and now look at him.

That’s a little much. He was around 50th prior to his senior year.

It's not that you need to talk to sound dumb, but sometimes that's just what you do.

"Coming off a second Wisconsin state title his junior season (2020), Mesenbrink committed to Cal Baptist (the first D1 school to offer him). And even though Mitchell finished high school with a third-place finish in his freshman campaign and three straight state championships, a commitment to Cal Baptist University certainly didn’t move the needle.

But, what did move the needle was what he did on the international stage in the spring and summer of 2022.

Mesenbrink burst onto the scene in Acapulco, Mexico where he cruised to the U20 gold medal in the Pan Am Wrestling Championships. Then in the U20 Worlds in Sofia, Bulgaria, Mitchell blitzed his way to the finals where he ultimately lost a tough match against Azerbaijan’s Kanan Heybatov."

I also trust everything an X burner account with 60 followers tweets out. Especially when that account tweeted out Rocky Elam to Michigan earlier this week
Looks like it was correct after all. You're right to be suspicious of an account with such low activity levels. Whoever the person is seems to have some sources.
