Would have been a solid get, but one that didn’t move the needle a lot from what we’ve got at 157
From the sounds of it ISU was the school he committed too earlier last week. Then VT came in to get a visit and a commitment. Bummer but like others have said probably doesn’t move the needle much.

If Ech goes 149 and Paniro goes 157, it makes no sense. Miller is a great wrestler but wouldn’t be but different than Paniro at 157.
Hopefully Ech heals and is ready to go - what a journey that has been from an injury that should have been good to go by now. Post op infection is nasty stuff .

Keeping it close against someone good is a far distance from winning. He was handled by Garvin as well and doesn’t have any high end wins to his credit. Not saying anything bad about him here, it’s just how it is. Still better than Riggins.

It ended up being correct, but Miller was not committed to Va Tech when that account tweeted it out
He went 1-2 at NCAAs and lost 5 of his last 8 matches with 2 of those being by fall. Would have been nice to have some more options at 157 but this isn’t a huge portal L imo.
I had a moment with his mom, and to our detriment it was only a moment. Sorry my friends.
