No one should ever shoot 65 at a US Open and 22 guys (as of right now) under par is way too many.

Even should always be the winning score at an Open.

Now get off my lawn.
The greens will get harder to hold and we'll start seeing scores similar to last Sunday at The Memorial.

Stop clutching your pearls. The previous opens at pinehurst show they will start weeding that out. The last us open here had the same first round scoring average and -1 won it.

The low round that year in round one? 65

Koepka bungling the last hole will help Molinari (and everyone else at +5).

May have just pulled Fleetwood, Scheffler, and Cam Young back in for the weekend.

What's up with Justin Thomas? So consistent for so long, now he can't string three rounds together.
He’s had some rough tourneys, but he’s also had some decent showings this year, PGA Championship most recently. It seems like he’s either top 10 area or missed cut lately though.
